The term ‘Bethesda’ (the house of mercy) is taken from the history of the Hebrews wherein the 28-year long sick man who had no helper was healed by Jesus.
What does ‘Khankho’ mean?
The term ‘Khankho’ is a Kuki indigenous term that refers to the people’s worldview that upholds the society through the centuries. Khankho means a way of living based on the worldview that reality is interconnected and inter dependent.

In Integrated studies we integrate indigenous values in the creation and promotion of human knowledge for sustainable earth community.
What is indigenous knowledge?
Indigenous knowledge wisdoms that emerge through the age-old interactions between human, nature and the super natural being. It is experiential, holistic, and ongoing.
What PGDIS?
Our Postgraduate Diploma in Indigenous Studies (PGDIS) is a one-year academic programme for those who want to pursue their Doctoral studies, or enrich and sharpen their knowledge and skills in traditional wisdom for service and creation care.
Is PGDIS an online course?
PGDIS is taught in a blended model. It is both online and offline.
What is the Eligibility for PGDIS?
You can do PGDIS if you have: BD/MDiv under Senate of Serampore or ATA; BTh in any Catholic Seminary; Any postgraduate degrees in a secular university; or equivalent.
Can I do PGDIS while working?
Yes. Classes are arranged to suit the needs of the students.
When is the time of admission?
